MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — Three Brewers had multiple hits but it wasn’t enough to out-slug the Reds as Cincinnati beat Milwaukee 6-5 on Friday.
William Contreras, Christian Yelich, and Jackson Chourio each finished with two hits. Contreras’ line included a solo home run in the 3rd.
Freddie Peralta went 5.1 innings and allowed a whopping ten hits and six earned runs. He was tagged with the loss.
The Reds built a 6-2 lead by the 6th inning. Milwaukee battled back for three runs, including two in the 9th. The game ended with the potential winning run on second base for the Crew.
