Indian man accused in Sikh separatist assassination plot pleads not guilty

NEW YORK – Nikhil Gupta, an Indian national accused of involvement in an unsuccessful plot to assassinate a New York-based Sikh separatist, pleaded not guilty to U.S. criminal charges on Monday.
