Death toll from Guangdong floods in China jumps to 38, state media reports

BEIJING (Reuters) – The death toll has risen to 38 from nine in China’s southern Guangdong province as of Friday, following days of torrential rains that triggered floods and mudslides, Chinese state television CCTV reported.
