SAN DIEGO, CA (WSAU) — A ninth inning homer from Jake Cronenworth off Joel Payamps gave the San Diego Padres a 7-6 win over the Milwaukee Brewers on Thursday night in Southern California.
The Padres scored four runs in the first inning off Brewers starter Bryse Wilson after Milwaukee scored one in their half of the first.
Milwaukee got a homer from Willy Adames who finished with two hits and two RBIs. Other RBIs went to Brice Turang, Christian Yelich and Rhys Hoskins.
The Brewers, now 44-31, take on the Padres again tonight…pre game show at 8:05 on WSAU.
