SAN DIEGO, CA (WSAU) — The Milwaukee Brewers salvaged the finale of their four game series in San Diego with a 6-2 win over the Padres on Sunday afternoon.
The Brewers plated five runs in the second inning.
Tobias Meyers picked up the win to run his record to 5-2 and lower his ERA to 3.12.
The Brewers banged out 14 hits including two each for Jackson Chourio, Jake Bauers, Joey Ortiz, Sal Frelick and Blake Perkins. Perkins had two RBIs. Solo RBIs for Brice Turang, Tyler Black, Bauers and Frelick.
The Brewers, now 45-33, return home on Monday night and start a series with the Texas Rangers. Pre game show at 6:35 on WSAU.
