TOWN OF STRONGS PRAIRIE, WI (WSAU) — Law enforcement in Adams County is searing for a 37-year-old man after a body was found buried on his property.
Officers were called to perform a welfare check on 62-year-old Sharion Miller of Friendship, who hadn’t been seen or heard from in three days. The caller also told officers that Miller lived with her son, Jami Lumby.
Officers went to Lumby’s home in the Adams County Town of Strongs Prairie but no one was there. They did find signs of freshly dug dirt, which was enough for them to obtain a search warrant. When they returned they dug up an unidentified adult body.
An autopsy is pending, and while no further information has been released officers do believe that the circumstances around the death are suspicious.
Anyone with information on Lumby’s location is asked to contact the Adams County Sheriff’s Office at 1-877-885-7786. They’re also asking anyone who had contact with Miller on Monday, June 24th to reach out as well.
