WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — A Mosinee woman has been accused of her 6th OWI following a traffic stop on County Highway B.
According to the state patrol, Jennifer McKinney was stopped for both an equipment and moving violation on July 31st near the intersection with Lowland Lane. Officers immediately noticed signs of impairment and conducted a field sobriety test and took her to a local hospital for blood samples.
The 67-year-old was booked into the Marathon County jail and made a court appearance on August 1st. Her bond was set at $5,000 cash, which she has yet to post.
She’ll return to court for a review hearing on August 7th. A pretrial conference is scheduled for September 18th.
If found guilty she faces up to ten years in prison and thousands in fines.
