WAUSAU, WI (WSAU-WAOW) – A beloved music festival returned in Wausau on Friday and Saturday.
The Big Bull Falls Blues and Jazz Fest kicked off on Friday, with three sets and a few scattered showers. It continued through 9pm on Saturday.
The two day festival will see blues and jazz lovers from all over hit Fern Island in Wausau.
Organizers said it’s a great event, and the venue makes it all the more unique. “It’s just something that’s extremely unique to the Wausau area to have a venue like this where you can actually have an event on an island. And everything that goes into the event it just creates a great which we really just enjoy showing off our little corner of the world I like to say and also enjoying the atmosphere that’s created out here on the island,” said Alissandra Aderholdt, Executive Director at Wausau Events.
