KANOSHA, WI (WTAQ-WRN) — Public safety was the focus as Republican Vice Presidential candidate J.D. Vance held a press conference in Kenosha on Tuesday.
Vance said there’s lots of problems regardning law enforcement recruitment in the country and also in the state of Wisconsin.
“A lot of our police departments are underfunded and under-resourced. We don’t have enough cops to do the job of keeping us safe,” said Vance. “And then on top of that, we’ve got Mexican drug cartels operating as far north as Kenosha, Wisconsin.”
Just hours prior to a Milwaukee rally with Vice President Kamala Harris and Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, Vance said the media needs to start questioning the Democratic candidate.
