MADISON, WI (WSAU) — The Wisconsin Badgers have announced their 11-game non-conference schedule for the upcoming men’s basketball season.
The majority of those games will be played at the Kohl Center starting November 4th when Wisconsin hosts the Holy Cross Crusaders from the Patriot League. The early homestand continues with games against Montana State, Appalachian State, Arizona, and Texas-Rio Grande Valley.
The App State game will be part of a Sunday doubleheader at the Kohl Center on November 10th as the Badger women will also host UW-Milwaukee that day. Game times and ticketing information will be announced at a later date.
Wisconsin will play its first games away from home at the Greenbrier Tip-Off against Central Florida on November 22nd and LSU or Pitt on the 24th. They return home to close out the month of November with another mid-major opponent in Chicago State on the 30th.
December opens with an interstate showdown against Marquette at Fiserv Forum on the 7th. Wisconsin travels to Indianapolis to play Buter one week later on the 14th. Non-conference play closes out with a game against Detroit-Mercy on December 22nd.
This year’s exhibition game will be against UW-River Falls on October 30th.
The Badgers will once again play a 20-game Big Ten schedule beginning with two games in December. Wisconsin’s draw includes home-and-home dates against Iowa, Illinois, and Minnesota. They’ll play single games against the remaining 14 schools.
The league schedule will be announced at a later date.
