TOWN OF ELDERON, WI (WSAU-WAOW) — A Wittenberg-Birnamwood school bus was involved in a three-vehicle crash Wednesday morning, according to WAOW TV.
State Patrol officers described the incident as a chain reaction rear-end crash. It started when one vehicle rear-ended another, forcing the second vehicle into the back end of the bus.
One person was taken from the scene with non-life-threatening injuries. They were not identified, but we do know they were in one of the passenger vehicles.
Nearly 40 students were on the bus at the time of the incident. One of them reported some pain, but they were not taken to a hospital.
