MEDFORD, WI (WSAU-WAOW) – A missing man has been found dead in Mill Pond.
Martevious Watts had been reported missing a week ago. He’d gone fishing near a campground in Medford last Thursday. When he didn’t return to his family, his fishing chair and rod were found near the water.
His body was located the following Friday around 9pm.
The cause of death is believed to be drowning. Police Chief Chad Liske says they’ll continue to investigate to bring closure for the family.
