MADISON, WI (WTAQ) – The Wisconsin Supreme Court has agreed to hear arguments on President Donald Trump’s lawsuit, which seeks to disqualify more than 221,000 ballots and overturn his election loss in the state. Trump reportedly lost the state by about 20,600 votes.
The court’s decision came just hours after a lower court judge ruled against Trump’s suit, claiming there’s no evidence of fraud in the election, and that elections officials did not violate state laws or guidelines in handling absentee ballots.
The court will convene at noon on Saturday, ahead of Monday’s scheduled Electoral College vote.
