MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — The Milwaukee Bucks almost blew a 25 point 2nd half lead but held off Boston 121-119 on Wednesday night at Fiserv Forum.
Daniel Theis missed an open three pointer at the buzzer that would have won if for the Celtics.
Giannis returned to action but was held to 13 points along with eight rebounds and seven assists. Khris Middleton led Milwaukee with 27 points and 13 rebounds. Brook Lopez and Donte DiVincenzo added 17 each and Bobby Portis had 21 off the bench.
Milwaukee has won eight in a row and 13 of their last 14 and will host Boston again on Friday.
