Why not?
Don’t get to play NFL General Manager very often but I’ll join the parade of reporters and bloggers and offer up my prognostication of the 2021 Green Bay Packers roster which will have to be determined by the Pack’s GM, Brian Gutekunst by 3 PM Tuesday afternoon. I’ve also added 16 players waived onto a projected practice squad.

PUP (1) Dennis Kelly – out 6 games
R/Suspended (1) Jace Sternberger – 2 games
IR (2) Will Redmond, Randy Ramsey
I had to let Benkert go and roll the dice the Packers can bring him back (unlike Taysom Hill) because they need as many special teams bodies as possible. Bakhtiari is really close in my opinion and I don’t think the Packers want to wait until mid-October to get him back. Tough cutting the Bay Port product in Cole Van Lanen but even his line coach Adam Stenavich admitted Sunday he needs time to develop. Dexter Williams was a bit more productive than Taylor at running back, Heflin was just too hard of a worker to cut loose. I kept Kelly on board on the PUP list as veteran (Rick Wagner in ’20) insurance on the line.
