WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — A man accused of giving his son a supply of drugs that killed him has been released on bond in Wausau.
Roderick Schultz, who was charged in the death of his son back on July 6th, successfully argued for a bond reduction in his case to $20,000 which he posted earlier this month. He is now free while awaiting trial.
He faces two counts of reckless homicide by delivery of drugs in the heroin overdose deaths of his son and his son’s girlfriend. According to police, cell phone records show that Schultz went to Milwaukee and acquired $400 worth of heroin and delivered the drugs.
Schultz faces 80 years in prison if convicted on both counts. He will be back in court Nov. 16th.
