MADISON, WI (WSAU) — The Badgers dropped a physical non-conference affair to Clarkson 3-0 on Saturday to run their winless streak to seven games.
Wisconsin did manage 31 shots in the game. including 11 each in the second and third periods. Clarkson Goalie Ethan Haider managed to stop each one.
Cameron Rowe allowed two goals on 23 shots faced. Clarkson scored one empty-netter in the game’s final two minutes to ice it away.
The game featured four ten-minute misconduct penalties, two against each club. There were also 13 two-minute minors handed out.
With the loss, Wisconsin drops to 4-11-1 overall. They continue non-conference play on December 2nd with a game against the USA Hockey Under-18 development program. The game will be an exhibition contest for the Badgers and won’t count towards their overall record.
