ROTHSCHILD, WI (WSAU-WAOW) – The Evercon gaming convention returned this weekend for their 22nd year.
Nearly 1,000 people came out over the three days to dress up and have fun. Groups came dressed as their favorite character other enjoyed a day of table-top games.
“There is an energy that people have here that I don’t see at a lot of places,” Evercon Town Crier Matt Pijan told WAOW-TV. “I think any time people gathered for a shared common interest you get that positivity.”
The event offered a philanthropic opportunity for participants, event coordinators raised thousands of dollars for Peyton’s promise.
