GREEN BAY, WI (WSAU) — More changes are coming to the Green Bay Packers. It was learned on Wednesday that the team would part ways with punter Corey Bojorquez.
The PackerNews first reported that the team could not fit the punter under the salary cap restraints that they are battling in this off-season. Bojorquez started strong before fading later in the season.
The Packers also reduced Randall Cobb’s salary from $8.5 to $3 million. They also did not make qualifying offers to Henry Black and Chauncey Rivers so both are free to sign with another team. They did submit tenders on their other exclusive free-agents including Krys Barnes and Yosh Nijman.
