SEOUL (Reuters) – North Korea says it test fired its “new type” of intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) Hwasong-17 during Thursday’s launch, state media reported on Friday.
Leader Kim Jong Un directly guided the test, news agency KCNA reported.
