MILWAUKEE, Wi (WSAU) — The Milwaukee Brewers split their four game series with the St. Louis Cardinals taking a 6-4 win on Thursday afternoon at American Family Field.
Tyrone Taylor had a three-run homer and Willy Adames a solo shot in the victory. Rowdy Tellez and Jace Peterson added RBIs.
Jason Alexander pitched 5 2/3 innings and picked up the win. Brad Boxberger, Devin Williams and Josh Hader shut the door with Hader earning his 21st save.
The Brewers and Cardinals are both 40-32 in the Central Division and they will face Toronto in an inter-league series starting tonight…pre-game show at 6:35 on WSAU.
