WESTON, Wis. (WSAU) — Cory Heckel is no longer the head coach of the DC Everest boys basketball team after eight years.
The district confirmed the personnel change in a press release on Thursday. The release also stated that D.C. Everest is confident they would have a new head coach in place by the start of the next season this winter.
The district could not give any other details on the situation because it is a personnel matter. The DC Everest boys had a first round exit in the WIAA tournament last season in a double overtime loss to Eau Claire Memorial.
