MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — The Milwaukee Brewers ended their homestand with a 6-1 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates on Wednesday afternoon at American Family Field.
Down 1-0 in the fifth Milwaukee got an RBI double from Willy Adames. They added a single unearned run in the 6th with Omar Narvaez getting the RBI.
The Brewers then blew the game open with four runs in the 7th inning. RBIs for Keston Hiura, Luis Urias, Garrett Mitchell and Christian Yelich.
Freddy Peralta pitched five innings giving up one run on two hits with 3Ks and no walks. Taylor Rogers, Brad Boxberger and Adrian Houser finished up.
Milwaukee, now 69-60, kept pace with St. Louis, San Diego and Philadelphia who all won. The Brewers start a series with the Arizona Diamondbacks tonight in Phoenix…pre game show at 8:05 on WSAU.
