MERRILL, WI (WAOW TV-WSAU) — The Lincoln County Board will be keeping the 4H programs in the county intact.
The surprise announcement came from Board Chairman Don Friske on Tuesday night.
Two weeks ago the county looked like they were planning to cut funding for the programs run by the UW-Extension due to budget concerns.
A public outcry followed that news and led to 150 people filling a listening session on the issue last week.
