MADISON, WI (WSAU) — Wednesday is the last day to get yourself registered to vote for the November midterm.
The State Elections Commission says all mailed voter registration information must be postmarked by October 19 and received by the local election clerk. Additionally, after today you will no longer be able to register to vote at the state’s MyVote website.
For those registering online, you must have a state-issued ID or driver’s license. Your information including name, date of birth, and address must match what is recorded with the DMV.
Residents are allowed to register to vote on the day of the election between 7 AM and 8 PM at their polling place.
Voters are always encouraged to verify their information at the MyVote.wi.gov website before election day. You can also confirm your polling place or request an absentee ballot through the website.
