WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — Two convicted sex offenders have reached the end of their mandatory sentences and will be released into the community today.
The Marathon County Sex Offender CORE Team says both Christopher M Dallman, 40, and 54-year-old Kevin O. Spencer will be released to transitional housing near the Marathon County Courthouse later today.
Charges against Dallman date back to 2002 when he was found guilty of second-degree sexual assault of a child. He will be on extended supervision for another 20 years.
Spencer has two prior convictions from 2001 and 2012 involving third-degree sexual assault and repeated acts of sexual assault against a child. His extended supervision will run through 2030.
Both men will be monitored by the Marathon County Division of Community Corrections and will be on a strict schedule regarding time out in the community. They will also be subject to GPS monitoring and will be required to maintain their address on the state’s sex offender registry.
Residents are advised that this information is released for informational purposes only. Any attempt to intimidate or bully any convicted offender who has reached their mandatory release date will not be tolerated.
