ST. PAUL, MINN (WSAU) — The NCAA playoff run came to and end for the UWSP volleyball team with a 3-0 loss to Northwestern-St. Paul on Friday night.
Ashley Kopp had her 26th double-double of the season with 10 kills and 11 digs. Olivia Paulkner had 10 kills and Sydney Mosinski added nine.
Emma Peterson had 20 digs and concludes her career with 2200 digs, 2nd in school history. Grace Michalske had 32 assists.
The UWSP womens hockey team dropped their matchup with River Falls 4-0. Olivia Schultz had 34 saves. The Pointers, now 2-2-1, will host Lawrence on Wednesday.
The UWSP mens hockey team drilled St. Marys 8-1 on Friday in Winona.
Cody Moline scored twice for the Pointers. The other goals went to Fletcher Anderson, Noah Finstrom, Conor Witherspoon, Tyler German, Wilson Northey and Mick Heneghan.
Alex Proctor had 21 saves.
The Pointers, now 2-1-2, will play at St. Olaf tonight.
The UWSP womens basketball team knocked off 14 ranked Milliken 64-61 Friday night in Whitewater.
Alexa Thomson had 17 points and 1o rebounds. Gabby Gawlitta also had a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds. Jamie Pfeifer had 18 points and six rebounds.
The Pointers, now 2-0, will face Carroll tonight.
