STEVENS POINT, Wi (WSAU) — The UWSP womens hockey team dumped Lawrence 5-0 on Wednesday night.
Olivia Schultz had 23 saves for her seventh career shutout.
Five different Pointers scored goals. Natalie Ahern, Ali Granovsky, Katie Stanius, Kayla Stumo & Ashtyn Wiltscheck all lit the lamp.
The Pointers, now 3-2-1, will play at UW-Superior on Saturday.
The UWSP womens basketball team suffered their first loss of the season falling to St. Norbert 55-50 on Wednesday night at Berg Gym.
Kelly McIntyre led the Pointers with 12 points and eight rebounds. Alexa Thomson had 11 rebounds. Gabby Gawlitta had nine points, seven rebounds and two steals.
The Pointers, now 3-1, host North Central on Saturday at 2pm. Berg Gym’s floor will be formally dedicated to long-time coach Shirley Egner at halftime.
