MADISON – Wisconsin Farm Bureau Federation is seeking applicants for the positions of Executive Director of Governmental Relations, Member Advocacy and Issues Coordinator and Director of Young Leader Programs.
The Executive Director of Governmental Relations is responsible for strategizing, overseeing and managing the responsibilities of WFBF’s Governmental Relations Department. Duties include performing lobbying functions of the organization, counseling staff leadership on policy strategy, and coordinating communication on local, state and national public policy issues of interest to agriculture.
The Member Advocacy and Issues Coordinator will develop new opportunities to deliver member value through education and information outreach pertaining to advocacy. Duties include assisting county Farm Bureaus and district coordinators with local regulatory efforts and issue, performing state lobbying functions of the organization and responding to member requests on local legislative and regulatory matters.
The Director of Young Leader Programs is responsible for coordinating programs related to WFBF’s Young Farmer and Agriculturist program, Collegiate Farm Bureaus, FFA and 4-H. Duties include coordinating YFA program activities, Collegiate Farm Bureau programming, serving as a liaison between Wisconsin FFA, Wisconsin 4-H and Wisconsin Farm Bureau and training member volunteers in various topics.
