STOCKHOLM (Reuters) – Swedish police said on Wednesday recent developments with threats directed at Sweden and Swedish interests were serious and affected the country’s security.
The Swedish Security Service said in a statement they had seen an increase in the number of threats of hostile attacks but had not made a decision on any change to their formal threat assessment level.
“It is still at an elevated level,” the service said in a statement.
