You can make the argument ( and I think pretty persuasively) that the rise in what you would call normal everyday, nice folks fighting back against what they see as injustice, racism, sexism and brutality of those in positions of power is a tipping point in our society. Many people were brought up to tolerate or at least look away and ignore this stuff before. Don’t rock the boat we were told or as Bruce Hornsby put it “That’s just the way it is, some things will never change”. Well, things are a changin”. Mothers and Grandmothers taking to the streets to confront government brutality. People who would never be thought of as radical are realizing that now is the time to bring the heat to the folks who have not faced any consequences for their odious actions. And it’s all being captured on film for the whole world to see. It’s a glorious thing. The time for tolerance of hate is over. Time to send this stuff to the dustbin of history, once and for all. This is an interesting read from this battle in the trenches….
Should you show tolerance to white supremacists and neo-Nazis? The answer is no. Why? Read it here
Brandon Woodruff showed last night why is the ace of the Brewers staff. No runs, one hit, 10 K’s in 6 plus innings of the work. And then three relievers worked clean to complete the one-hit shutout. Now we need the hitters to get going.

“Just on a practical point, in the current climate: what’s to stop anyone from claiming to be feds and pulling up in an unmarked car and grabbing/kidnapping a random person and driving off? And onlookers assuming it to be ‘feds’. Genuine question.”-Mehdi Hasan
BREAKING: We’re receiving reports that at least one protester was abducted off the streets today by unmarked “officers” — this time in New York City. These dangerous, abusive, and indefensible actions must stop. Law enforcement must be held accountable.

“#Trump will try to wreck the Postal Service and then, if he loses, argue that the results are invalid because mail-in ballots were mishandled by the Postal Service. It’s his classic, nihilistic, survive-by-creating-chaos move. He’ll blow up the house to forestall his eviction.”-Howard Fineman
“We need everyone to understand that voter suppression is real, it is thriving, and it is the political theory of the case that Republicans intend to use in this election. They do not intend to fight fair.”-Joy Reid

“That Trump is retweeting Chuck Woolery, listening to Peter Navarro’s deep thoughts on the coronavirus, and allowing Jared Kushner to masquerade as an “expert” in supply chains demonstrates his disdain for expertise and ultimately the truth itself.”-Max Boot

“Did anyone just watch that interview with Peter Navarro on CNN? What the hell? HOW is it possible that so many incompetent assholes ended up in such high ranking positions at the same time?”-Ida Skibenes
