MADISON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources is issuing health alerts statewide due to pollution from the south, coupled with warmer temperatures and low humidity.
From noon to 11 p.m. on Tuesday, the DNR is issuing an advisory that says the ozone levels may be unhealthy for sensitive groups. That includes people with lung disease, children, older adults and people who work outdoors.
Last week, the DNR issued health warnings due to smoke coming from wildfires in Canada.
