GERMANTOWN, WI (WTAQ-WRN) — Students at a Germantown school that was the site of a fatal police shooting this week will be back in class Monday.
Kennedy Middle School was the site of that fatal shooting of an as yet unidentified person by Germantown police Monday evening.
According to the Wisconsin Department of Justice, which is conducting the investigation, a person acting erratically was spotted in the school parking lot.
Police arrived and the person climbed onto the roof and fired at them. Officers returned fire killing the person.
There were some 50 to 70 students inside the building at the time.
On Friday the school principal is expected to provide details on on site counseling services that will be made available to them when they return to class on Monday.
