Wisconsin Badgers
FORT MYERS, FL (WSAU) – The Wisconsin Badgers rallied in the second half to win the championship game of the Fort Myers Tip-Off Tournament.
The Badgers, trailing by 8 at halftime, outplayed SMU down the stretch for a 69-61 win.
Max Klesmit scored all 12 of his points in the second half.
SMU led by 10 with 10-minutes left in the game. Wisconsin went on a 7-0 run. Chucky Hepburn, 10 points, hit a 3-pointer to cap the rally.
The Badgers were led by Tyler Wahl with 14.
Wisconsin is now 4-2 this season, and returns to Madison to play Western Illinois on Monday night.
