MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — The Milwaukee Brewers beat the Chicago Cubs 10-6 on Wednesday night at American Family Field.
Milwaukee jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first inning on a two-run homer from Christian Yelich. They added five runs in the 3rd and three more in the 7th.
Blake Perkins and Willy Adames also had home runs with Adames finishing with three RBIs and Perkins with two. Yelich drove in three runs and Gary Sanchez had two RBIs as well.
Jared Koenig picked up the win in relief with two scoreless innings.
The Brewers, now 32-23, host the Cubs this afternoon…pre game show at 11:35 on WSAU.
