WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — It was a successful weekend for the Wausau Woodchucks as they won a pair of games with the Lakeshore Chinooks, 5-4 on Saturday and 15-6 on Sunday.
Saturday saw Max Soliz Jr and Edian Espinal hit homers while Vanch Sheanan, Max Galvin & Bryce Hubbard went deep on Sunday.
The Woodchucks are 15-4 in the second half of the season and lead the Great Lakes West by a game & a half over Madison. The Northwoods League heads into their All-Star break today.
