(Reuters) – A tropical wave located roughly midway between the Cape Verde Islands and the Lesser Antilles has a 70% chance of becoming a cyclone in the next 48 hours, the U.S. National Hurricane Center said on Sunday.
“The system could approach portions of the Greater
Antilles by the middle of the week,” the Miami-based forecaster said.
