WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, WV (WSAU) — Wisconsin got out to a fast start in the semifinals of the inaugural Greenbrier Tip-Off, defeating Central Florida 86-70 to earn a spot in the championship game.
John Blackwell led all scorers with 17 and John Tonje added 15. Nolan Winter scored 13 points and grabbed 10 rebounds.
The Badgers shot 48.5% from the field and 32.3% from three-point range (10-31). UCF made just two of 17 from long-range.
Wisconsin improves to 6-0 on the season, its best start in six years. They’ll play the Pitt Panthers for the tournament championship on Sunday, a game you will hear on 93.9 The Game due to Packers football on WSAU.

Pitt defeated LSU in the other semifinal on Friday.
