In the game against the Royals, the Brewers lost 6-2. Jesus Aguilar had a two-run single for Milwaukee’s split squad. Yasmani Grandal had a double and single.
Chris Owings hit his eighth double for Kansas City’s split squad. Homer Bailey made his second start, pitching four shutout innings.
In the split-squad win against Colorado, Mike Moustakas hit his third home run and a double for Milwaukee’s split squad. Jhoulys Chacin made his fourth start, going 5 1/3 innings and allowing three runs.
Nolan Arenado had a double and two singles for Colorado. Trevor Story hit his third home run. Gray made his fifth start, pitching five innings and yielding two runs and striking out eight.
The Brewers play again as a full team on Sunday afternoon against the LA Dodgers at Camelback Ranch.
