WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — There were a pair of fires reported in Auburndale and Mosinee. WAOW TV reports the fires took place at Liberty Tire Recycling in Auburndale early Monday morning and also at a home off Western Ave in Mosinee on Sunday night.
A spark in the dust collecting system started some fluff on fire at the recycling plant. Employees were evacuated and no-one was injured.
In the Mosinee fire a couple made it out of the house safely but their dog & cat were killed.
