MARSHFIELD, WI (WSAU-WDLB) — Another retail store in Marshfield will be closing.
The parent company of OfficeMax says the Marshfield location will cease operations on Saturday, May 18th according to a report from WDLB in Marshfield.
The closing is part of a planned restructuring by Office Depot, which operates both OfficeMax and Office Depot stores across the country.
OfficeMax first opened in Marshfield in 1999. A company spokesperson said they will continue to serve Marshfield customers through their website.
Earlier this week Shopko announced it would be closing all of its stores nationwide as part of their recent bankruptcy filing. Additionally, Figi’s announced it would be closing its Marshfield location by the end of March.
