WESTON, WI (WSAU-WAOW) The Weston Aquatic Center will open for the 2020 season, according the a Facebook post by the Aquatic Center.
The facility may not reopen until the end of June, or even later. According to the post, there is a lot of work that needs to be done before reopening. Right now, staff is working on preparing the pool for filling. They will also need to recruit and train guards.
“The opening plan includes procedures for cleaning the facility, and for staff and patrons to observe, to reduce the risk of COVID transmission by following recommended guidelines. There is much work to be done before opening,” the post says. “Also, due to precautions with COVID-19, the Aquatic Center will not be offering swimming lessons or the sale of season passes this year.”
