MARSHFIELD, WI (WSAU) — First responders in Marshfield were able to extinguish a burning vehicle before any significant damage was done to the home it was parked by.
Officers say they were called to the home on Upham Street early Tuesday morning where a man said he had started his Chevy Silverado to let it warm up before driving it. when he came back ten minutes later, the front end was on fire.
He managed to pull the Chevy away from the house with another pickup, as the siding on the house was already melting. The Marshfield Fire Department was able to extinguish the flames upon arrival.
It’s unclear what started the fire.
