TOWN OF HACKETT, WI (WSAU) — A suspicious death has been reported in Price County outside of Prentice.
Sheriff’s officials found the body along State Highway 13 near the intersection with Whitby Road. Officers say there is no danger to the public, but haven’t provided any further details.
The body was found at about 9 PM Sunday. A vehicle crash was also reported in that area around the same time, which detoured traffic for several hours.
It’s unclear if or how the two incidents are related. The name of the deceased has not been released.
