STEVENS POINT, WI (WSAU) — A Stevens Point man was arrested for a 4th OWI following a traffic stop on Interstate 39 on Tuesday.
Kasey Richardson was pulled over at about 3:45 PM for a seat belt violation. As officers were interacting with the 37-year-old, they noticed signs of impairment.
He then failed a field sobriety test and was taken into custody.
Court records show his previous OWI convictions date back to 2019, when he was found guilty of a 3rd offense OWI with a passenger under the age of 16 in the vehicle. He served 90 days in the Portage County Jail with work-release privileges and paid a fine.
Court action for Tuesday’s charge is pending.
