MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) – Ian Happ hit a 3-run home run to lead the Cubs past the Brewers, 8-2.
The Cubs pulled away with 4-runs in the 6th inning after the Brewers tied the game at 2-2.
Seiya Suzuki and Michael Conforto also homered for the Cubs.
It was the first time the Cubs beat the Brewers in five tries this season. The Brewers still hold a 6 1/2 game lead in the NL Central.
Branon Woodruff (2-1) starts for the Brewers on Sunday at 12:35pm on WSAU.
