RIB MOUNTAIN, Wis (WSAU) There was a garage fire in Rib Mountain early Sunday morning. It was reported around 3am on Grouse Lane. The garage was fully engulfed when firefighters arrived.

A fire report says the garage was not attached to a nearby home, and firefighters were able to keep it from spreading. The garage itself, and a boat that was stored inside, were a total loss.

Investigators believe the fire was started by a lightning strike.
