WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — A Marathon County man is set to be released following the completion of his jail sentence for two counts of second-degree sexual assault of a child and third-degree sexual assault.
George Fischer will be released to supervised custody on Tuesday in transitional housing near the Marathon County courthouse. He will be subjected to GPS tracking and will have to maintain his address with the state sex offender database.
He will also have a highly restricted schedule with regards to time in the community.
The first two counts of second-degree sexual assault of a child stem from a 2004 incident. Charges of third-degree sexual assault came from an incident in 2016.
