WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAU) — The Mosinee teenager accused of home invasion charges was in court Monday.
17-year-old Steven Peres is facing eight different charges including armed robbery with threat of force, burglary, and false imprisonment, plus misdemeanor charges of resisting an officer and criminal damage to property.
Peres remains in the Marathon County Jail, unable to post a $100,000 dollar cash bond.
The complaint says the five or six masked suspects broked through the door and demanded money and cellular telephones.
The home invasion happened in the 600 block of Moon Road in the Town of Mosinee shortly after 2:00 a.m. Friday.
At least one of the invaders pointed a gun at the victims, but it’s not known if Peres had a gun.
