SALEM, VA (WSAU) — The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point men’s basketball team has won their final four round game against Virginia Wesleyan. The final score was UWSP 68 -Virginia Wesleyan 59.
The Pointers broke open the game with an 11-2 run with 12 minutes left in the contest. Austin Ryf had a game high 21 points, one shy of a career high. Alex Richard had 17 and Stephen Pelkofer added 14, six rebounds and five assists.
The Pointers now prepare to play Augustana at 2:00 p.m. CDT Saturday in Salem, Virginia for the national title.
